Who We're Looking For

We welcome experienced instructors and subject-matter experts who love working with kids. To teach with Academic Pathways, you will need:

Live Scan background check (Department of Justice & FBI clearance)
TB clearance
CPR and First Aid certification
Demonstrated instructional ability — relevant teaching experience, tutoring background, or subject-matter expertise
Alignment with our educational philosophy — hands-on, student-centered, standards-aligned enrichment

Note: A California teaching credential is not required to teach with Academic Pathways. We value real-world expertise and a passion for education.

Facility Rental Partnerships

Academic Pathways has rooms available for independent educators who want to run their own programs on-site. This is ideal for:

Math tutors looking for a dedicated space to meet with students
Music teachers offering private or small-group lessons
Other independent educational businesses serving homeschool and charter school families

Facility rental partners operate as independent businesses — you set your own schedules, pricing, and carry your own insurance. A current Live Scan background check is required for all individuals working on the premises.
