Visit our State Standards Pathways page to see exactly which classes align with California State Standards for each grade level. The page breaks down every course by grade so you can choose the classes that match your student's educational plan.
Yes! We are planning to offer high school classes beginning next school year. If there is a specific subject or course you would like to see, please let us know through our Class Interest Survey so we can prioritize the classes families need most.
Yes — there is a back parking lot with additional spaces. To reach it, take East Monte Vista Ave and turn onto the unnamed street next to Bag O' Crab. The back lot entrance will be on your left. This lot is typically much less crowded and provides easy access to our facility.
Absolutely! We want to offer the classes families actually need. Please fill out our Class Interest Survey to tell us what subjects, grade levels, or time slots you are looking for. You can also browse our Shop for additional educational materials and resources.
We are unable to offer makeup classes. However, if your student misses a class, we will prepare a packet containing the curriculum and materials covered that week so your student can complete the work at home. Materials will be set aside for two weeks for pickup. Students will also have access to any video content recorded during the class session.
Once charter school vouchers have been processed, we are unable to issue refunds. Voucher orders are submitted directly to the charter school for payment, and once that process is complete, the transaction cannot be reversed. Please make sure you are committed to the class before submitting a voucher order.
If you pay out of pocket, you may cancel up to one week before the next billing cycle. Please review the full cancellation and refund terms in the policy agreement you signed at enrollment for complete details.
Academic Pathways maintains a strict Respect and No Bullying Policy. Students or parents who are disruptive, disrespectful, or engage in bullying behavior will be asked not to return. In that case, no refund will be issued, but a curriculum packet will be prepared so the student can continue the coursework at home. All families are required to read and sign our Respect and No Bullying Policy agreement before enrollment.
It depends on the reason for the removal. In some cases, the student may be allowed to return the following school year after a conversation with the family and a renewed commitment to the policy. However, if the removal was caused by a parent's behavior, the family will not be permitted to return. Each situation is evaluated individually, and our priority is always maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all students and families.
